The Karenswood “Premier”
Sleeve
The PW.17 was created by Alan Sims and represents all that
one could ask of a heavyweight protective sleeve.
The experience behind the design concept and the finest
materials that money can buy, together with the
highest standards of craftsmanship, combine to make the
PW.17 the most versatile protective sleeve in the entire
Karenswood range. Supplied in either the very best stirrup
leather, chrome leather, OR a combination of both, the sleeve
is lined with the very best quality felt. Hand crafted the
sleeve is anatomically contoured to the
general shape of the human arm. It is joined by a leather
hinge at the elbow and the top section is extended to
provide more upper arm protection. A leather gusset has
been sewn into the mouth of the joint in order to give a
degree of protection without losing the flexibility of the
joint.
The design is such that it allow better than 90%
natural movement of the arm, regardless of which way it
is articulated. Exterior toggles are fitted to enable the
Karenswood heavy jute Sleeve Cover (PW.2) to be attached.
The additional leather patch on the forearm can be replaced
if damaged. The illustration shows the PW.17 with a closed
end containing a hand grip and ventilation hole. The sleeve
can also be supplied with open end by special request.
Just one of the patented designs of Karenswood equipment,
the PW.17 remains the “PREMIER“ model. |
