The Karenswood Single Piece Sleeve
This is the fifth variation of this very popular style, and we say without hesitation that it is the most versatile of the single piece range. The design was created by Alan Sims whose idea it was to make a sleeve for the young dog from the same material as the heavy duty sleeve cover, with which the dog will become familiar as his experience and abilities develop. The heavy quality jute is
tremendously hard wearing and offers plenty of grip to the dog. The sleeve is slim enough to be worn under a coat and ispliable enough to allow the arm to flex.

Fitted with folding hand grip. Just as we said in the beginning, this is a first rate sleeve which we thoroughly recommend as a starter for the young dog.

The Karenswood Wrist Guard
A Karenswood innovation and design. Produced in a heavy quality leather and lined. The guard is an adjustable lace up
which has an n anti pinch flap sewn in. It offers a degree of protection from the wrist to the forearm and has a number of
applications - it can, for example, be inserted into one of the Karenswood single piece sleeves to establish better protection for the runner/criminal, whilst allowing the dog to work on a sleeve with which he is familiar.

There are times when a “bite“ is not to be encouraged. In such cases, the wrist guard may be worn more as a protection against possible accidental injury rather than as the target for an attack dog
